Definition: CID 29, 36, 49, 51, 52 & 53?
The CID is an identification number that SonyEricsson uses to denote which software a mobile device is using to protect against 3rd party flash software. The latest mobile phones from SonyEricsson have CID51 or CID52 preinstalled; the latest PDAs have CID49 or CID53.
Typically, the higher the CID number, the newer the "security-key" on the phone.
In our client.exe, you not need to worry about CID, it detects all important settings by itself. Our software will only show you firmware that corresponds with your device. Its impossible to write wrong firmware.
